I've been so excited to share this one with you all! Holly and Eric awesome people. Smart, hardworking, innovating (Eric's got his own hunting app; hunters, check it out!) and super kind.
It was a cloudy day, but a perfect fall day, for their wedding. We found some color (after a few road detours) but were able to stop, and I kid you not here, at a spot I've honestly wanted to shoot at for years but never hit it on the right day for the right shoot. This was the day and it worked out superbly.
Because it was around Halloween, and because of all the kids at the wedding (and the kids at heart!), Holly+Eric through a fall harvest fest sort of reception. They had pumpkins to decorate, a face-painter (and many adults even did that!), and a full on trick-or-treat event for the kids around all the tables. It was a fantastic idea and they really pulled it off well.
Holly+Eric are related to me (I think… Eric is the nephew of my step-mother so, my cousin by marriage, right? Is that a thing?) Either way, it was nice to have some family around to spend the day with. And because their reception was at the same place as my reception, and my dad's reception, it was a nice way to remember and celebrate all of our marriages.
I'll stop rambling now. Thanks for letting me part of your day, you two. Many blessings on everything the future holds for you! I think the future has some amazing things in store for you two.
As things calm down here after the move, I'm working on getting caught up on my final Wisconsin weddings and first up is Kailee+Paul's wedding.
Kailee+Paul are two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. Their day was filled with laughter and geniunely great people. They have some pretty great family and friends and it was such a pleasure to spend the day together.
