This is my longest blog post this year, maybe to date. And I couldn't be more excited to share it with you.
Kate+Tanner came east from Madison to wed in Milwaukee at St. Hedwig Catholic Church and party at the Pritzlaff.
I'm all about the couple personalizing their wedding to who they are. Tanner, a police officer, and Kate, a social worker, both know Wisconsin state statutes very well. One of my favorite details of their day was that they used lesser known (and a sillier) statutes as their table numbers at the reception, writing up little explanations for everyone to read at their table.
Besides all of the work they put into their wedding day ahead of time, they hired Kayla of Juneberry Weddings who did a great job of keeping the day moving smoothly and beautifully. And Alan, Milwaukee's well known Scottish DJ, keep the dancefloor moving all night long too!
Kate+Tanner themselves: two extremely kind and beautiful people. It was such a pleasure to spend the whole day with them. Their trust in me helped to create a great atmosphere from which we could take the time to make some great photos together.
Blessings to you two as you set off on all of the journeys that life brings you!
