Aloha Ed!

I'm truly looking forward to chatting in more detail on Saturday. I wanted to give you just a small amount of background and show you some shots so you'd have a little more information about me and my work going into the meeting.

This year I celebrate 10 years in business as a photographer. I've traveled and shot weddings and landscapes on four continents and, besides my work with couples, I've worked with a variety of charities and corporate clients over the years for a variety of different projects. My biggest client (company wise) was Honda (I shot their CR-V for some of their online advertising). The most heartwarming was Living Water International (I traveled to Guatemala to shoot a clean water well drill in the Highlands with the local Mayan population).

My wife and I moved to Oahu in 2016 after visiting for months at a time the prior few years. The Pacific has had my heart longer than my wife has (which we are hitting 14 years this May; I fell in love with the Pacific four years prior). Jessica was kind enough to join me on this adventure to Hawaii and away from the flat land which is the midwest. She's spent the last 10 years in philanthropy and that's where her work and heart is.

I love to fly and get up every opportunity I can. Even had my first chance to fly a Cessna last year (a mini-flying lesson back in Wisconsin). I love being in the air and have said to multiple friends that I don't want to shoot with a drone because I'd rather be up there myself! I was going to get my glider pilot's license but decided that money would go to the move last year instead. One day!

I've enjoyed building a working relationship with Nicole over the last few years and appreciate her trust and support. She's a great business partner; wise, dependable, and dedicated. She also speaks so very highly of you, your work ethic, your dependability, and the pleasure she's had working alongside you for these many years.

Below are some images from my flights on Oahu and Kauai. The flights were always more landscape focused but I hope they give an idea of my current skillset in the air. I'll also include a few other shots below: some architectural work I've done and some photos from Nicole+Mark's couples sessions I've had the honor of shooting.

Thanks for reading this, and for considering me, as we start this conversation.
