blair + mohammed’s milwaukee engagement photography

Blair and Mohammed, this year’s winners of the free wedding photography contest, joined the fun and talented Jamie Swanson and me for their engagement session a few weeks ago. We headed into the Third Ward in Milwaukee for the shoot. It was a fantastic day – little drizzle and all. Be sure to check out the photos Jamie got at her blog. I think she just absolutely nailed them!

Below are some of my favorites of mine from the shoot. I shot using only my 50mm f/1.4 to force me to be a little more creative. Special thanks to Jamie for that amazing umbrella! Blair and Mohammed – we are really looking forward to your wedding day – you guys are just a blast! Be practicing your GQ look! ;-)

Thanks for the kind words, Andy. I LOVE the first shot on here – kind of jealous, actually! You also did a great job of capturing the joy between these two – very nice! Looking forward to shooting with you in a few months.
