Big. Greek. Wedding.
That about sums up this day. It was packed with a lot of love, family, friends and a ton of tradition (oh yeah, and amazing homemade desserts!) If you’ve never been to a traditional Greek wedding, you’re missing out on something very meaningful. The bride and groom actually don’t really do anything or say anything. By just showing up they are pledging themselves to each other. I won’t go into everything – needless to say it was really an honor to see these two get married.
And then there’s the party. They know how to party. The dancing, singing – it’s a riot. And the DJ – I swear he sang half the songs along with the CD (in the mic). And he was good!
Thanks for letting me be part of this day Rebecca and Kris. It was a blast!
As my new tradition goes, 75 comments below (in the facebook or blog section below added together) earn Rebecca+Kris $75 in print credit! I love to hear your thoughts and so do they!

Molly + Steve both serve their country and I’m honored to have been part of their wedding day. This fun loving couple basically had a destination wedding in Waukesha (for them at least, some family and friends where here already). They did a great job planning from out of town and everything came together perfectly. The weather was great but the mosquitoes were horrible (sorry guys!) The secluded park I choose for photos was fine the week before but then some rain in the days between brought more mosquitoes than you could count. We abandoned that plan shortly after and headed into downtown Waukesha for more photos.
Some of my favorite shots happened after the evening was over and I was leaving. I noticed that the sun was low in the sky and saw a beautiful location close by. I turned around and came back to get them for some shots. I couldn’t pass up that perfect setup. A great way to end a wonderful day.
Thanks to you both for letting me hang out with you guys all day. It was a great time!
So again, we’ll run a little giveaway contest. If we can get a total of 75 people commenting below, I’ll give Molly + Steve $75 in print credit! Spread the word (after you share a few below!)

After this next shot, her veil blew off and the Best Man and Maid of Honor ran it down for us…

I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for so long now. Millie + Steve have so much style and spunk (as seen in their engagement session) that I knew it was going to be a great day… and it was! I’m a guy so I don’t normally gush about dresses but I have to say that Millie’s dress was amazing! The day was beautiful and, for the most part, the clouds were helpful (although they didn’t block the sun the 5 minutes I needed for a specific group shot – oh well, we made it work!) Their wedding and reception were held at the Hubbard Park Lodge – it was a wonderful and intimate setting (and perfect for their green theme!)
I’m going to try something new with this blog post. If we can get 75 combined comments below I’ll give Millie + Steve a free 16×20 print (so basically that’s earning them $1 for every comment!).

Lauren + Peter’s wedding was one of those days where everything just fell into place. Everything just flowed right along nicely from one event to the next, people and places where ready on time, the sky was a perfectly cloudy (giving beautiful soft light everywhere) and everyone was having a great time! It’s day like this that I absolutely love my job! These two are a pretty laid back couple and a pleasure to be around. I really enjoyed hanging out with them and their friends all day.
The ceremony and reception where both held at the Waukesha Rotunda, which not only is a lovely venue, the food prepared by Chef Jack’s is always amazingly delicious. Because they held everything in one place, we had the luxury of enjoying the party more as we didn’t have to drive around to different locations for photos. In fact, because they saw each other before hand for photos together (which I think makes for great photos and memories!) they were able to hang out with their guest more after the wedding.
Thanks to you both for having me out to enjoy your day with you. I had a blast!
