I love to travel and am very thankful for a job that allows me to do just that. I was back in California last month for an engagement session, a beloved session, some meetings with new friends, a visit to the Taylor Guitar factory, and a bunch of landscape shooting. I love it.

Jessica and I didn’t go to Hawaii on our own. We enjoyed the company of her parents, Darlene+Sam, who were celebrating their 45th year of marriage together. To give them a chance to focus on each other for a while, we did a Beloved Session at Glass Beach on Kaua’i. Beloved Sessions are a time to celebrate your beloved, to connect with each other, and to find anew the love you share. It’s for the engaged and for the married. I’ll have more about it on the site soon, until then, enjoy Darlene+Sam’s photos. They are an amazingly strong and loving couple – a great example for Jessica and I to be.
