I returned to Los Angeles (for the second time this year) to attend a amazing conference: AdventureAlways – a collection of artists that inspired, induced many tears, and became good friends. It was a truly wonderful chance to grow as an artist and a person and I’m very excited for some plans I made from my time there.
We stayed on the Queen Mary in Long Beach, California which Arrested Development fans will recognize. So for the costume party that was thrown I went as Buster from that episode. The only costume I think I’ve ever really been excited about!
One of my favorite shots below (the 4th down) is my photojournalistic shot of Nick Ray, a photojournalist who worked for The Times for 10 years and has shot from war zones to weddings.
I also hit up San Diego, again, to visit some friends (the Mitchells you’ll see below) and visit the city that may one day be our home (I would SOOO love to live out there).
This wraps up the busiest two months of the year for me. 9 weddings, 10 engagement sessions, 3 senior photos sessions, and 2 weeks of travel – these last 60 days have been something else and I’m very grateful for it all.
So many more photos over on my Instagram account – so check them out there too!
I love to travel and am very thankful for a job that allows me to do just that. I was back in California last month for an engagement session, a beloved session, some meetings with new friends, a visit to the Taylor Guitar factory, and a bunch of landscape shooting. I love it.
If you haven’t already seen the news, I’m now selling my landscape work AND next week am giving away a large canvas to celebrate. Just sign up for my newsletter to be entered to win that canvas.
Here’s a random collection of shots from the trip. Enjoy!
