Stephanie+Ben’s wedding day was filled with the energy of young love and the relaxation that comes from a small, lakehouse wedding. They wed on the shore of Geneva Lake (it’s always strange to me that Lake Geneva is the town and Geneva Lake is the body of water… but I digress…)
With friends, family, and a lot of beergaritas (it was their unity drink during the ceremony even!); everything made for a great day.
An all-star cast of vendors (including a past groom of mine as the DJ!) helped to make this day go smoothly. Something Blue Lake Geneva did the planning. Zilli’s did the food (including an al pastor taco station… yum!) and the cake was from Julie Michelle’s. The dance floor with rocking thanks to the guys from Milwaukee Airwaves. And the beautiful flowers were by Pesches. And that’s just a few of the talented people who made the day what it was.
Blessings to you Stephanie+Ben!
The three of us headed to some of their favorite local hangouts for the engagement session. What’s fun is that now that Jessica and I are in Shorewood for the summer, they are also some of our favorite local hangouts too! Rachel+Maximilian are getting married next year, in Wisconsin (yup, I’m still taking a few weddings in Wisconsin) and I’m excited to come back and celebrate with them.
Anyway – we went out, chased birds, drank some beer, and laughed a lot (and got some photos in the process). These two are good people.
