I’ve been excited for Sarah+Heath’s wedding for a while for a few reasons. They were the recipients of our 2011 Free Wedding Photography Giveaway. Their reception was at the EAA Museum in Oshkosh, which is a beautiful location for a celebration. And for the second wedding in a row I was going to have the privilege of shooting alongside Jamie and Brandon Swanson. The day did not disappoint! From working with the funniest priest I’ve ever met, to getting to know both Sarah+Health and their wonderful family and friends, it was a great day.
The day was organized and kept on track by Nicole from Details, a professional planning company. They are an indispensable in planning and pulling off a wedding of any size. I’m looking forward to working with them again in a few weeks on Kate+David‘s wedding!
Many blessings Sarah+Heath! May the sky be smooth and bright as you fly off together into your new life!

erin+michael's madison wedding

Up next on the blog docket is the beautiful wedding of Erin+Michael. Both of these guys are so very intelligent and talented in many ways but above that they are very genuine and open people. They also both have wonderful families that are so loving and caring (and sure made me feel like I was just as included). And now they are one larger family joined by these two!
There were so many fun aspects of this wedding including Michael leading some of his (extremely talented!) family in a few rock numbers and a special garland ceremony, complete in Indian dress fit for a king and queen, to celebrate Michael’s family’s Indian heritage.
The ceremony was at the very regal St. Bernards Catholic Church in Madison and the reception was at the beautiful and fun Monona Terrace in Milwaukee.
I had the privilege of shooting this wedding with my friends Jamie and Brandon Swanson up in Fond du Lac. You can check out their blog post right here.
Thanks for letting us be part of you day Erin+Michael – we had an absolute blast!
