Laid back, fun-filled and hilarious is how I’d describe Margaret+Steve’s wedding day – and everyone in it. Not only are Margaret+Steve a blast to hang around with, their friends are just as great. We had a lovely day to shoot their wedding. The ceremony was at Queen of Apostles Church in Pewaukee and their reception was at Merrill Hills Country Club, which served as a beautiful venue for the evening celebration. I was joined by my friend and fellow photographer, Rich Warp – who was my second shooter and captured some of the lovely images below.

Two fun things to note below. First, make sure to check out the animation of their golf swing – look at that form! And second, the DJ (the wonderful and entertaining Dave Drake) had ALL of the guys serenade Margaret with Steve as the conductor… hilarious.

aimee+nate's engagement session

Let’s just be honest – Aimee, she’s my sister. I spent many years picking on her, arguing with her, and hey, maybe even pushing her around a bit (I’m AM the older brother). Thankfully those days have passed and I can’t tell you how happy I am for her. Nate is an amazing guy and I am very excited to see them get married next year. I’m also really looking forward to capturing the day!

We headed up to Port Washington for their engagement session and had a great night with beautiful light after a storm pushed through.
